Examples of People who didn't THINK

  1. Have you ever seen one of those morbidly obesse kids walking down the street?
  2. Have you ever seen one of those freakishly anorexic teens walking down the street?
  3. Have you ever seen one of those middle-aged women wearing a fake tan that makes her skin ORANGE and such thick make-up that you can't even tell what her face looks like?

THINK

Use your brain; it's the best defence!

When confronted with Media Messages (however obscure), before blindly agreeing, take a moment to THINK.

THAT MOMENT COULD MAKE YOU A HAPPIER PERSON FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS OF YOUR LIFE!

Perpetrators

The media is everywhere; on TV, in newspapers, on the internet, billboards, games, adverts... Unfortunately, some of the messages conveyed in these mediums influence people greatly.

For example, many teens define 'Cool' by watching their favourite programs. These sometimes include murderous pot smokers.

The aim of this blog is not to promote media censorship, just media awareness.

Define: Media

Messages that are distributed through the technologies, principally text in books, study guides and computer networks; sound in audio-tapes and broadcast: pictures in video-tapes and broadcast; text, sound and/or pictures in a teleconference.
